hi. i was wondering if anybody has pictures of an outdoor ceremony at crest hollow. thanks. i forget how it's set up. our banquet manager told us that they would be using the centerpieces to decorate the chapel...not sure how that works. thanks!

I'm a crest hollow bride. May 18th to be exact. My ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside. Check out their website, they have a mini video that shows pics. of the grounds. www.cresthollow.com

Hi! Another Crest Hollow girl here..
I've been to an outdoor ceremony there, and I can tell you, you won't need much if anything at all. They really do a fabulous job. They basically provide everything for the ceremonies.
I went there on a Sunday afternoon to see what the indoor chapel will look like, so you might want to do the same thing. If you show up kind of early, like closer to 11:00, someone will probably let you walk out to the grounds...just ask!

Re: former crest hollow brides re:ceremony
i vaguely remember being told that we could pay them $500 for extra tulling. i guess one of these days i'll have to take a trip down there and sneak in before a ceremony. my future mother in law wants lots of flowers at the ceremony. i am just not sure where to put them.

I heard they have flowers outside for the ceremony, but I'm not too sure about the indoor ceremony. Do any of you know?

The include the chuppa and two alter arrangements in everything. I'm not sure about the 500 bucks for tulle though..that would be nuts!

Re: former crest hollow brides re:ceremony
do you think we'll have to decorate the chuppah?
i could've sworn that they told me for an extra $500 they would decorate the indoor ceremony with tulle and lights on the ceiling.

Re: former crest hollow brides re:ceremony
May 31st this year....
They never mentioned the 500 bucks to me, and when I went to Pedestals, they told me Crest Hollow does everything when it comes to the tulle...it's possible they just meant for the aisle..but I'm not sure.
They get you every way they can huh?

Re: former crest hollow brides re:ceremony
seriously...i've been reading some of the posts on the message board. remember the catalogue of wedding cakes that we can choose from? apparently, there are only a few that are free of charge. most of them you have to pay extra!

Yep...you get to pick between only 2. It kinda bugs the hell out of me that they tell you all of this is included...but not that it's all conditional. The nature of wedding planning...IT SUCKS.

Re: former crest hollow brides re:ceremony
i know. everything with the word 'bride' or 'wedding' attached to it, automatically gets 5x more expensive. why does wedding makeup/hair need to cost so much? flowers too. ugh.

Re: former crest hollow brides re:ceremony
i wish i could use that excuse...it wouldn't fly in my case because i'm having a daytime wedding. so we should be out by 5 or 6.

That's too funny, but I remember my florist also telling me that I wouldn't nee flowers for the ceremony either.

Re: former crest hollow brides re:ceremony
hey. i just called crest hollow and talked to the banquet manager. for the outdoors ceremony: they will provide the canopy with fresh flowers, there will be two baskets of fresh flowers in the front, plus six garden trees (3.5ft tall) that line the aisle. there's no tulle.
for an indoors ceremony: instead of the garden trees they have 6 columns where you can put your centerpieces and use them as decoration.
Buttafli1277, has your florist done lots of weddings at crest hollow? i guess she would know better than us.
my future mother in law wants a well decorated ceremony, so i'm not sure what else i can add to what crest hollow is giving me. any suggestions?
