I have just started supplementing my son with some formula daily and have a few question. I have been getting different advise from my friends and thought I would check here. I have been using Enfamil LIPIL and it seems to be working.
1. Do you always stick with the same brand? My one friend goes back and forth b/t Similac with iron and Enfamil LIPIL. She told me they are the same thing.
2. How do you prepare the powdered version. Do you always use warm water or do you use room temp water? My DS seems to prefer it at room temperature.
3. How long to you let the bottle 'sit' around after preparing it. The lable says use it w/i and hour.
Sorry if this stuff sounds stupid. I am just a little confused.
Thanks in Advance.

Re: Formula Question
1- I always stick to the same brand. Changing formulas could have unexpected results. If yours works, why change? I know my son took a week to get use to newest formula he is on (I had to change cause he had issues with his 1st formula). He had spit up and bowel movement issues.
2- I never used powder.
3-Once I warm a bottle, I usually use it within the hour.

Re: Formula Question
1. Do you always stick with the same brand? Yes.
2. How do you prepare the powdered version. Do you always use warm water or do you use room temp water? I always used room temp water and then just warmed it up for a few seconds by placing bottle in a mug of warm water.
3. How long to you let the bottle 'sit' around after preparing it. The lable says use it w/i and hour. Once the baby drinks from it, they say its only good for an hour. If the baby didn't have any yet, it should be good in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
