Fortonoffs vs Bloomingdales

Which one is better to register at, Fortunoffs or Bloomingdales?

I say fortunoffs.......I love it there & think its more common. It depends if there is more of something at one store you really want. Sometimes they both may not carry.

I would do Bloomingdales. They have stores nationwide, so your guests from all over can order something. I have also heard stories about Fortunoff return nightmares and things dropping off registries b/c of discontinuation. I'd go with the national chain.

I have heard of some stuff like that. Also, I had a co-worker that was waiting for something from his registry and when he never got it, went to the store to buy it, it seems that someone ordered it and then cancelled the order. But, it never went back on for someone else to purhase. Is that normal?

we did fortunoff's. i went and looked around before bringing fh along. i found that bloomie's (even tho i love that place) was pricier. the china i registered for was about $500 more at bloomies than at fortunoff.

the only problem with bloomingdales is that alot of stuff can be expensive. If you go to their site and look at home stuff you'll see what i mean. There are SOME items for less but i feel its more expensive than alot of other stores when it comes to home stuff. Its ok if youre buying for yourself but i think with other stores you get a more wide range of prices so it will be alot better for your guests.

I looked up all their house stuff and even salt and pepper shakers were $80, small stuff were very expensive.

we did fortunoff and registered easily online.. didnt even have to go to the store! I feel its more common than bloomingdales and cheaper for your guests to buy for you
