so after hearing all the horror stories at fortuneoff..im thinking about moving all of my stuff to BBB as well..my question is what items were affected with special order? My fine china, flatware, stemware, and casual everyday dinnerware, flatware, and bedding (except comforter and sheets..they were bought already) are on there...is there any problems with these items? tia
with some yes there are special orders. Even my little things are on special order. Like a small chopper, the oxo fat separator lol, little kitchen utensils

They discontinued my bedding a few weeks after I picked it out. So it was 'special order' for a month or two (you could buy it online but there was none left at the store). Then, when they ran out online, it was just gone.
We registered about 3 months before my shower (which is next month) so basically, that meant I'll be getting no bedding for my shower unless I pick a new set at Fortunoff (Yeah, sure) or somewhere else.
I think you're pretty safe with China. The China is probably Lenox, Kate Spade, a brand like that, so Fortunoff will continue to carry it as long as it sells and the company keeps making it. My bedding was Hotel Collection - made by Fortunoff - so they decided to stop selling it and take it off the market when they felt like it, leaving me without bedding.
