Ok, I know this has been a hot topic.....so what exactly is the story with Fortunoff?? A lot of my items are popping off my registry or can't be ordered on line.
I was there yesterday to spend all my gift cards and credits. I heard a warning went out last week that they are laying off most of their staff today. It's still up in the air, but I asked one of the workers and she said it's just a matter of time before they close the doors, and they're all playing it day by day
Are you seirous?!!!!!!! OMG, I have so much credit there!!!!!!! Do you think I will have at least enough time until next week??!!
FYI - They laid off a lot of people yesterday including my best friend....so things are definitely not looking good.
i would have someone go and get everything for u if ull be away! there was an article in newsday the other day. Its expected to be closed by like nextweek. i guess we will see.
I still have my registry there. I know my shower is pretty much anyday now so I am not too worried. I talked to other stores and they said they will exchange whatever I got that they have in stock in case Fortunoff closes so I am not too worried. I already set up a registry at BBB so I can buy back whatever I don't get in case I have to somewhere else. We'll see what happens.
