Ok, so my china pattern isn't a regularly stocked item and the wait time is about 6-8 weeks. 3 place settings have already been ordered (yes I peek like everyday ) so its too late to change it. But do you think the wait time is going to deter guests from purchasing it?
This may sound selfish but that is really the most important item to me on my registry and I really think id be devastated if I didnt get it!!!
Anyone else have this fear? Or am I freaking out for nothing?

Re: Fortunoff China...
You can always leave it the way it is and if you don't get enough settings, you can either purchase the rest at a discount or return them and pick something else!

Re: Fortunoff China...
I do think the wait time will deter people from buying the sets. Lots of people like to go home from the store, present in hand, not have to go back to pick it up. Plus, if anyone doesn't buy your gift at least 3 weeks before your shower, they can't get it. You should find out what the return policy is for china. normally it's easy to return stuff from your registry, but I think the rules may be different for China.

Does fortunoff offer a discount to complete your registry once your wedding has passed?

Re: Fortunoff China...
Are you registered anywhere else? We registered at Fortunoff's and Macy's and put half of our china on each registry.
My Mom went and bought 2 place settings from Fortunoff's as a Christmas gift and said it was a pain in the butt because she had to drive to the warehouse (or something like that) down the road to pick it up...

That is the way it is w/ all their china & other high end products you have to go to warehouse to pick it up.
