I used mine too! (Where's that poster now....) Godd*amn, if Fortunoff's refused to honor 1500 worth of gift cards. I'd STILL be in there raising a fuss. They're already paid for, and they need to get rid of the merchandise anyway...

What makes you think they'll actually ship it to you?
It's all so shady, how do you just not accept gift cards, but not tell anyone...? That's a class action waiting to happen.

i saw bedding ive been eyeing.. it wont even match the bedroom once i repaint and get new furniture.. but for the moment it goes...
im guna go friday and see ifthey have it in the store.

Thing is, they want to get the most money out of the merchandise they still have. From what I've been hearing, prices in the stores have gone back to retail price.
BTW, I posted a response on another thread about what current Fortunoff's giftcard holders can do. It's not much, but it's something if you want to stay proactive about the whole situation.
