FORTUNOFF NEWS

Wow thats bad.

Just an FYI for the girls registered there, I did my registry at Macys and they have mostly all the same things that Fortunoff carries. It's a good alternative, also Bloomingdale's as well for the fine china, crystal etc.

I did Macy's bc they've been sending a lot of coupons lately so it works out.

and in levittown theres a lord n taylor clearance store... last yr they had bikinis... 2008 line.. michael kors, red carter, ralph lauren, trina turk ,etcc.... fro 1.99-4.99 a PIECE!!!!!!

well since they bought fortunoff.. they took out all the bikinis and put in like 5 comforters and some towels.. i was soo upset!

FH and I are going to try and use our gift cards this weekend, do they let us use the dream pints we already accrued? How do we know how many we have?

Macys looks like they may be getting alot more business from my registry now

i have 2 things i want to return there and want to purchase something else
They are off my registry i hope they take them back

as i wrote on the other f0ortunoffs thread, FH an d i went last night. The wont acccept ur dream card anymore, u can not return anything. You also can not touch your points until 2 mnths AFTER ur wedding, so we may all be out of luck. They arent discounting items (even though they say they are having a sale like every week) thy are actually bringing prices back to their original prices (eg our luggage went from 150-300 to 300-500 a piece in the last few weeks!!!!!!) They dont know where they will be day by day, and NONE of the stores r getting new merchandise, so if they run out of whats on ur registry ur out of luck. It s u ck s

I just posted this on another thread we were there last night and tried to use our dream points too and they told us the same thing. They also told us they weren't getting any new shipments and that they couldn't order anything. It's really horrible. We had to switch everything we had over to BBB and some stuff we wound up buying because they didn't have it at BBB and we really liked it.
