FORTUNOFF REGISTRY MESS UP...

OKAY I DIDNT HAVE MUCH ON THIS REGISTRY BUT THE STUFF I HAD INCLUDING GIFT CARDS WERE BROUGHT FOR ME AND THEY NEVER CAME OFF LIST...THIS IS CRAZY....SO WATCH YOUR REGISTRY....I WENT AND TOOK THE ITEMS OFF MYSELF.

I hate Fortunoffs! I have heard of registry problems before, not to mention many of their employees have snotty attitudes, which is why i didn't register with them!! BB&B rocks!! Great customer service, lots of variety and I haven't heard of registry problems with them! Good luck to ya!

i also hate them. the registry worked for me however the customer service leaves A LOT to be desired - particularly on furniture repair...

ive had a good experience so far, but all these posts make me nervous...... what does cust serv say about items not coming off after ppl buy them??

UUgh... Not good. The majority of what I have registered for is from Fortunoff!
I have not had any issues with them so far.

That happened to me. I was so annoyed I called fortunoff to complain & they gave me a few discount coupons.

We are actually taking almost everything off our fortunoff registry and putting it all at BB&B
the people at fortunoffs werent very helpful plus i like teh fact that the people could use the 20% off coupons at BB&B

Hated there registry, we took everything off of it and went just with Macys and BB&B, which by the way, were both just great. Fortunoffs messed up three times, then I got rid of them......

I would also consider that many people forget to have the gifts taken off the registry when they purchase them.

I agree. I registered for my everyday dinner ware there and i ended up getting 2 ENTIRE sets because they never took it off my registry when it was purchased so two people ended buying it. Now I have to return a whole set and I really don't want store credit because I didn't pick hardly anything else from there. Since it was there fault, I feel I should get cash back. They also told one of friends that my flatware wasn't available online but only in the store and when she went to the store (all the way from NYC) they said it was discontinued!

As a guest I do not like Fortunoff. I had to buy off of our friends registry from there and all of their stuff is on backorder. Half of it was delivered when I placed the order and the other half about a month later. They also don't take the payment at the time you order it, they take it when it's delivered, so you will have unexpected charges showing up on your account b/c you never know when it will be delivere. PITA!

That is why I did not register with them for our wedding.
