Fortunoff Ring Trouble (kinda long)
We ordered my FH's ring from Fortunoff. Since he has very small fingers, they had to special order it for him.
When it arrived, it had a dent in it. So they sent it back. Fine.
When it arrived again, there was a little piece inside the ring that didn't belong there. So they sent it out to be redone again. Fine.
So it came in a third time. But the little piece was still there. The manager proceeded to tell us that the little piece belonged there since the ring is really 2 rings soldered together.![]()

No one told us this before.
So, after thinking about this for a few days, we decided to return the ring. Luckily, they didn't give us a hard time about it, despite the fact that custom orders are not supposed to be returned.
I am just letting everyone know about this issue so they can be careful and ask the right questions.
On a happier note, I got my ring from Fortunoff's and it looks beautiful![]()
