FORTUNOFF -Update

i HATE fortunoff. FH is on the phone with them. We ordered our entertainment center in AUGUST. We were told it would tkae up to 8 weeks, we were annoyed, but we said ok. 8 weeks passed, they were messing with us pushing it back, and then we were told it was backordered and we'd have ti for xmas. Fh spoke with them earlier this week and they told us to call today to set up delivery and NOW they're telling us we won't get it until JANUARY. i'm so upset. We put it on our fortunoff card with no itnerest until march, however, we had to pay 1/3 of it up front, so they're running around with a LOT of our $$$ and we have nothing...grrrrrrrrrrrrr

and they don't care at all.

I'm never odering anything from fortunoff again. We ordered our couch form macy's weeks later and we've had it for 3 months!


Update: FH spoke with the forunoff people. They were able to work with us on the price and everything. i'm still pretty pissed off about it and I don't think I'll evr order furniture from them again , but they did the best they could to remedy the situation.

How bad do you want it? Is there another one that you can find that you like just as like or even more? I ask because at this point I might be inclined to yell and scream at them and tell them to give me my money back and cancel the order.

Glad all worked out for you! Like another post said, I probably would have cancelled the whole order on my card and went somewhere else.
