So I went today to look at wedding bands. My FH wants a Jeff cooper band and its pretty pricey. I wanted to go in there and order it for him, or put $$ down toward it, whichever I could do. I wanted to surprise him by having it all paid off. Obviously we have a lot of time but I really wanted to start paying towards it. So I waited about 40 minutes for someone to finally help me, fine I don't mind waiting. I quick tried on 2 rings for myself, didn't like any, then I went to his band. I looked at 2 different ones (same design, different plat. weight). I am looking at it for no joke maybe 45 seconds and she is like OK so this is food for thought. and like just brushes me off!!!!! Then goes right to a much older couple next to me and starts helping them, gives them her card etc. Then waited another 30 minutes or so because I wanted to try on some bands for myself on the other side by the anniversary diamond bands, no one ever helped me!!! I finally walked away. I walked out of there sooo aggravated!!!! I really wanted to get our bands at fortunoffs, I like the quality of their diamonds, and haven't really seen the Jeff cooper ring he wants anywhere else, not to mention the 10% off is decent as well, but now I don't know!! the customer service, when I got any, was so obnoxious and snooty. Yeah I know they are busy, but my 10k for wedding bands is as good as the old folk's next to me, is it not?? Sorry just pmsing, had to vent!!!

I would be really pi$$'d too. I tend to hold a grudge for things like that. I would complain to the management. And I would also look somewhere else. If you do decide to get the ring there, go during the week. I have found that they are much less busy and helpful then.
FMIL went there while they were having a sale. She s/w the manager about discounts, etc... He told her that they were having a special. For every $100 (or maybe if was $200) you spent you get a a $20 gift card. When she went to the counter, the cashier didn't give her the cards. She asked the cashier and the woman denied that there was a sale. FMIL pressed with her and explained that she had just spoken to a manager and finally got her cards. How slimey is that!

wow that really is slimy!!!!!! I wonder if that sale is still going on??? lol I am definitely going to look elsewhere, I was sooo turned off!

My sister used to work there are they are snooty at the jewelry counter, especially near the engagment rings and wedding bands. They will always go to the older couple next to you. I would go somewhere else if you could. I hold grudges also so I wouldnt give them my business. Good Luck!

No, it's over. When I was cleaning out my e-mails, I actually found that I had gotten one announcing the sale. I don't usually read them- so I didn't realize that they actually did that. If they do it again, I'll post it so everyone knows.
