Fortunoff's Jewelry Question

Ok so I called over to the Source and I kept on getting transfered around until I left someone a message. My ring, according to my receipt, is supposed to be in on 2/15 but with all the problems they are having I am afraid it might get delayed and possibly not even receive it. I paid for it in full.

I may be getting all worried for nothing, but have any other brides ordered jewelry from them that has not come in yet? Has anyone actually spoken to a human being over there? Im hoping someone can ease my mind until someone calls me back.

I tend to agree..sometimes it just takes a s-fit meltdown and histrionics to get an answer out of people.

They are having way too many problems and I wouldnt leave without my ring either

K so my dad spoke to a friend of his who works there and they said that if the ring has not been ordered yet, they will not be ordering it. Since I cannot get an answer from anyone, she is going to check into it personally for me when she goes back to work on Friday. I hate waiting a whole day, but at least I know I will get a straight answer. I just hope that they didnt delay the ordering due to the problems they were having.

ETA: Sorry I forgot to mention that when I was being transfered from person to person, one lady told me that the paperwork has not been processed yet. Not sure what that means, either they havent ordered the ring, or maybe she was referring to the paperwork to have it shipped to the store?? I guess I will find out Friday

You should start looking for a new ring now at a different jeweler. When did you order it, and why weren't they up front with you about ordering????

Thank GOD that FH and I found our rings in the correct size a few months ago at a Whitehall Jewelers (going out of business at the time). . .we were able to leave the mall with them!

It was a custom order and I placed the order last month. I didnt know they were having problems and I doubt if any of the workers knew at the time either.

I may or may not have been ordered since I am not sure how long ago they stopped ordering jewelry. I know the jewelry place in the city which closed was known to them for awhile. I guess I will see Friday.
