For the people that have gone to Fortunoff's in westbury, you must of seen the French Wine Merchant across from the watch store. I went in the mall that way and noticed that the store went out of business.
Most people did not know that the french wine merchant was owned by Fortunoffs. I actually worked in that store when it first opened. I also worked in Fortunoffs department store as a cashier for a year and a half.

They were a little on the pricey side though.. But the two people (the older man and woman) were VERY nice.

Yeah they were pricey....It was Fortunoffs lol.....They had some good wines that were affordable and then some crazy priced wines that would actually sell. When I worked there the most expensive wine they had was $20,000 a bottle...I could only imagine what a case would cost.

Oh No!!! My cousin worked there!! he said business dropped WAY DOWN after the whole situation with France opposing the war with Iraq. He said a lot of people would come in and yell at him about Frane's stand on the war and the U.S.
