I was so bummed that HWC said I couldn't take pics on the golf course... But we were out there yesterday, and I notice this big field or corn. There is a barn on the land, with sunflowers all around, i wa sin love. My mom and I drove over, and this little 80 year old couple lives in the farmhouse, and run a farmstand on their front lawn. They said it would be no problem for FH and I to take pictures there!!!!
I have some pics taken from far away, with my camera phone...
that backdrop will make for some beautiful photo's.

You are also not far from Cedar Beach, it's in Mount Sinai. It's free to take picture there. There is also a pond right off of North Country Road in Miller Place.

Thanks Tracey- I love Cedar Beach! I think we were plannng on a private beach in Sound Beach- but Cedar is a perfect back up. Will they let the limo in? or do you have to be a town resident?

Angelica Glass is amazing! She did phojournalistic shots at my brothers wedding and she always photographs three little girls (sisters) who are friends of the family. Thay are on her site under the blog: The Rivera Family

Ugh- she is AMAZING! I know the girls you are referring to. Unfortunately, Angelica was out of both our budget, and FH's idea of what he THOUGHT he wanted. i know he would have fallen in love with her work, but he was against having to travel to meet people. But I think we'll be OK. I hope.

You know what's funny? I have no idea. I grew up in Lake Ronkonkoma, is that Islip or Brookhaven? My license says Ronk. FH's says Bohemia. And we live in Bay Shore.
As for Sound Beach- I am not sure. One of the GM's lived there, and was on the town counsel, but has since split with his wife, and moved out... His name is still on the mortgage, though- and he's a lawyer, so I trust when he says it shouldn't be a problem... I know that the beach has tons of stairs down a cliff.
