Found a place for Engagment Party.. FInally!!!!

So after a long , long search and lots of back and forths.. My FH and I finally decided on our Engagement Party location.. We went with Bethpage State Park.. Im sooo excited. We looked at the Pavillions the other day and they are redone .. look great. they have baseball field, horshoe, basketball court. lots to do for the kids.. I am very excited about it.. NOw its for May30th.. so I have to get crackin on invitations and all that good stuff. decorations and all. Anyone have any ideas??? I am soo not a planner. any help would be appreciated. TIA.

I'm sooo happy that you figured it out. Congrats it's going to be great!!! My mom and I just went to an invitation store by my house and started there. FH and I just chose a color theme and went by that. We're def all here to help!!

Congrats on finding the place! Can't help you too much with ideas right now...I am in the midst of planning my engagement party and I am totally drawing a blank! Did you want to have some sort of theme or color combo?

Thanks guys... well originally I thought it would be cool to have a white party.. (apparently not soo cool cause my FH and family said I was redicuous.. cause since its at a park and bbq.. everyone would get messy, lol. i guess i didnt think it through really, lol..).. Not sure if I should have a theme or just go with neutral colors since its a park.. what u think? im the worst at this stuff. thank goodness my bro's sis in law is soo talented and creative she said she would help.. I am drawing a huge blank.. I guess I never got that creative gene

Congrats on finding a place!! Have you tried looking for invites at party city? I know it sounds kinda cheesy, but they do have some cutesy invites for eparties...They also have the personalized ribbon for kinda cheap (thats where I got mine for our eparty)

you could get invitations at michaels too..

and if you like the all white you could still do that as a theme, just people wouldnt wear all white..

you could have white plates, serving stuff etc, white flowers/balloons as cps..i think it'd be really pretty

either that or white with light green-very spring/light-ish

You could do like garden theme, I picture light green and purple, maybe with tulips as centerpieces, you can def have the white in there I think that would look really pretty just not necessarily what people would have to wear....
