So, yesterday and today, Walkintomymind and I figured out that we are cousins!!! Still trying to figure out how many times removed, but not that many (pretty sure our grandma and grandpa are first cousins!!!).
That was AFTER I told her she was gorgeous (which she is). . . . and now that makes perfect sense!!!

And we both got engaged at Christmas . . . . we picked out my ring while buying my x-mas gift on 12/23, and she got engaged on 12/25!

She FM'ed me that her Mom's maiden name is my last name, and really, all the Manittas are related . . . . But then, we exchanged the first names, and she told me that her Mom grew up in Centereach, like me, and her family had farm land, which my Dad used to come out on Summers to work on with his Grandfather, and it all fell into place from there . . . . . From research I did years ago, I knew that every Manitta is related (even in Italy, there aren't that many . . . .) and those that came to NY and LI are closely related . . . . .

It's even cooler because my Mom, Aunt & Grams are the only Manitta family I know! So know I discovered a new one!! It's so cool!
