Found my DOC and photographer!

I am very excited (and bit relieved) to say that I booked a day of coordinator and photographer this week!

Day of Coordinator
We booked Cloud Nove Events for 5 hours on our wedding day (from getting ready to first dance). They were highly recommended to me and we had a great consultation with the owner, Regina. Hiring a DOC wasn’t in our original game plan, but after feeling significant stress at our engagement party and considering how much it would help us, we decided to go for it. I think it will be well worth it!

Photographer
We also booked Karen and Tina of Paper Hearts Photography . I had discovered them about a year ago while I was helping a family member find her photographer. Although she didn’t choose them, I kept seeing and loving their work on Facebook so when I got engaged over the summer I knew they would be one of my options. I had a pretty hard time choosing between them and Silverfox. Silverfox offered me a great package and I know that they have an excellent reputation. However, the 2 photographers that stood out the most to me weren’t available on our day. Paper Hearts had the specific style I was looking for and we had a great meeting with them. They quickly and efficiently answered a number of follow up questions I had and I feel like they are genuinely excited to be a part of our day!

We aren’t getting married until Memorial Day weekend 2015 so I was surprised to find a number of the photographers we were interested in are already booked! My advice is to get the vendors that are the most important to you booked ASAP! Let me know if you’d like any more info about the ones I mentioned .
