Found my dress for HALF the price online. Need help

So, I found my wedding dress (that I'm using for dancing) for half the price online. Now, I know to be wary of online stores, however, RK will beat the price and it will ship directly to me. No frills/no alterations. My question is, does anyone have a good seamstress to recommend to do the alterations? Long Island or NYC?

I fit almost perfectly into the sample size they had at RK. Anyone have any idea what the sample sizes they put out at RK? Would it be an 8?

Sample sizes at RK are all different. I would say most are around 10-12.

You can also call RK and ask what the size they have is in that particular style #. I've called and asked them that before about a dress.

You should really get your measurements taken because a lot of the samples are really streched out. The sample of my dress fit me perfectly but I had to order the next size up because the sample was streched from people trying it on.

Remember that the sample dress has been tried on by many people so it may have stretched a little bit. I fit perfectly into the sample for my dress but the lady at RK said to definitely order 1 size up just for the fact people have been trying it on.
