Considering the time crunch I am already moving. I found the dress last night! Obv I always had an idea of what I wanted and since I know it will take months to come in I thought that I should start there so I know I'll have it. I tried on a dozen and kept going back to the one I had a picture of. That was it! Just like that. I couldnt sleep all night with excitement.
Now I have a meeting with the church on Tuesday so hopefully I can nail and date down.
Then RH? Do you think being that it's 'late booking' I can find a good rate?
Any help and or suggestions welcome!

Definitely do church and RH right as soon as you can! Some places give big discounts if you book late since they really want to fill their dates! If you are looking for a Saturday night in the summer, it might be slim pickings, but hopefully you will find somewhere you love! Do you have any idea what RHs you will look at?
I'd say after that definitely do photographer since they book up quickly as well.

Thank you. That was exactly what I was thinking. RH, Photographer, then Music. Then I will feel much better. Im also trying to work on a budget so I am going to be flexable with days, night, Friday or even a Sunday if Sat is not an option. I dont have a 'dream' location per say in mind so I think Im just gonig to 'shop' around! And Budget friendly RH?

Congrats! Its really good that youre getting moving on everything but I think youll be ok timewise...8 months is still decent so dont stress. As far as reasonable RHs go I would check Crest Hollow, Swan Club, Stewart Manor, Coral House, Chateau la Mer, and maybe Jericho Terrace and Riviera. Unless there is something specific you are looking for?

I would definetly do the church and RH as soon as possible! You can also start searching for photographers, look at different websites to find your favorite styles. You can make a list of the photogs you love and once you have a date set you can start calling around to see who's available

8 months should be okay. Usually the GREAT deals are off season and last minute for unbooked dates . I'm on the 4 month start to finish plan so I got great deals but I'm also getting married in the winter which has risks. Congrats and good luck in your planning

Yes - reception hall and church should absolutely be your next thing to do, because you can't really book any other vendor until you have the specific date/place!
