Found my dress...questions about a Demetrios!!!!???

I think I found my dress. I just have two questions about it...

Has anyone worn the Demetrios #1318 for their wedding and do you have pictures?


Did anyone order their Demetrios from Burtons? How much of a price drop did they offer and how long did it take to get in?

okay, so I had more than 2 questions....

I will be wearing a Demetrios dress but I purchased it from Macy's Bridal Salon in Smithhaven Mall. When I purchased mine it was originally $1350 but I got 15% off b/c I purchased it at a trunk show.

If I were you, I would call different places and give them the style number and ask them how much they charge for that same dress.

I know Macy's Bridal Salon in Smithhaven Mall is having a trunk show this weekend and is offering 15% off dresses.

Sorry I can't be much help with the whole Burton's thing.

According to Macy's Bridal Salon by Demetrios, my dress should take about 10 - 12 months to come in.

bump.... Please... any advice about how long it took them to make a demetrios gown.. I love my dress, but I am afraid to love it because I am worried I won't get it in time.

When I initially inquired about a Demetrios online I was told 12 - 16 wks.

I ordered my Demetrios dress from Macy's Bridal in the Menlo Park Mall (New Jersey). They originall told me 4-6 months and I got it in 6 weeks.

I had to get a hollow to hem done on mine so it took about 6-months for it to come in.

Also, I don't know where you live, but the Macy's in Manhasset gives you 20% off if you pay in full

I too have a Demdtrios dress, but from Macy's bridal in Manhasset. Not sure what the Demetrios #1318 looks like (I tried a google search, but came up with nothing). Mine is in my profile - from the receipt it looks like 890, but I'm not sure. I did my hollow to hem measurement in September b/c they told me it would be in around May 2007 at that point. Even though FH and I were not ready to book anything, I got the measurement done b/c I know this is the dress I want to get married in and I was not not going to get married in 2007 b/c I didn't get my dress hemmed in time. Now that we got what we needed to move ahead with our plans, I'm so glad I got the measurement. It does take a while for them to get the dress in for some reason. Maybe that's just a Macy's thing?

Is this it? I searched for it on the Demetrios website.
I also got my Demetrios dress from Macy's in Manhasset. They give 15% off usually.
