Found my lace belero but in IRELAND of course!!!

I have to laugh because everything i like happens to be in ireland of course! It doesn't match my dress lace (if i go with the dresses i so far have liked) but i can get it in ivory and order it in a larger size and pray it fits me because sizes run smaller in Europe. BUT with shipping its like $40.00 and I am low on cash.

Should I get it so I can at least can try it on with the gowns to see if i like it to begin with?

LASTLY MAYBE it will match - (wishful thinking) with pure luck this way I am not spending oodles of money in the end to get one made specialty

Or order it in black because I know I would wear it with dresses and stuff and just visualize it in ivory when I try gowns on?

OR lastly, just show the woman the concept she should know what to do or what would look best with the dress.

THANKS!

I would either just buy it and hope for the best, or bring a picture and have one of the bridal salon attendants help you out.

ETA: do you have a picture?

I didn't know you were looking for a bolero. I thought you were getting a dress with sleeves. I could be wrong. If you really want the bolero, order it and try on dresses with it! It's your wedding and you should have what you want. (as long as it's in your budget)

I tried on dresses with sleeves but they don't have lace on the bottom of the dress or detail work typically. I want something on the bottom of the dress very some odd reason I can't get over that part. Plus the ones with sleeves even though they didnt fit me well I feel i would be really annoyed with them by the end of the night and start to scratch and rip them. I do that with things that are tight around my armpits nad i am hot.

I rather just get a jacket or a little sleeve.

I would bring a picture with you when you look for gowns. This way you won't spend a ton of money if it's not what you want. At least if you show them a pic and they show you something at the shop, you can see if you really love it or not. HTH!

Soooo pretty! I know you said you're low on cash, but for $40, I think it's a steal! Get it!

I do really like it though - just what I wanted!!!

Oooh, I love that!!

Are you still undecided if you're going with the strapless Casablanca? This bolero would look awesome with it. I just might have to get one!!

Its beautiful...you may want to purchase one where you bought your dress so that they match the lace on your dress to the bolero., This is what I'm doing. In fact I went to a dress maker to make me one and she said its best to see the dress.

I thought about it at the gym. I am going to show the woman it first to see if we can match up the lace. Then I will see if we can find something locally that I could return possibly to try on with the dress to make sure its the style i want. This way I am not wasting money. I am going to ask the woman in ireland to send me the measurements to see if it would be a nice fit this way if my parents still want to buy it just in case it happens to work we can go through with it.

Yes my first pick is the CASABLANCA dress in ivory, then maggie. Either way strapless! I am shocked that I am finding the strapless so comfty and I am not terrified of it falling off since I am not picking heavy dresses. I never thought a wedding dress was light always figured these big heavy things that you die in!

Got two more appointments on Saturday and then I go back to baldwin to try on the cassa dress on Tuesday afternoon and FINALLY make my mind up so I can do flowers and know what colors to pick!
