Found our Toasting flutes!!! UPDATE: just won them on ebay!!!!!!

I am so in love with those too - don't know if I can justify spending the money on them though.

I am really JEALOUS.... I LOVE those - But to be honest they were too expensive for me.....

I feel the same way.. I know no one is going to buy those for us for that kinda $$ and at the same time I really dont think I am ever going to use them again they are probally going to sit in a china cabinet or something similar.

I know I'd want to use them every year on our anniversary, but I can't afford them and my mom's jaw dropped when she heard how much they cost. Of course, she thinks I'm spending too much on just about everything, but things are different in San Diego where I grew up. There's a chance my FIL's might get them, but I'd feel bad asking. We'll see...

I have them too! My friend (Latina511) bought them for us for an engagement present.

I love them and they are GORGEOUS!!!
FH and I have already used them when we closed on our house. We can't wait to use them at the wedding.

I can't wait for them to come in.

Then I can go back to the store and look down my nose at that mean little man who thought he was SOOO much better than Jim & I.

I just didn't like his attitude at all. When I sent Jim to ask about the flutes to begin with he never even turned to look AT Jim, just glanced over his shoulder gave Jim a look and said 'yeah we sell them' and looked back. That ticks me off to no end.

He was rude about the waiting list, like we shouldn’t bother. What a sales person right? He was such a jerk about it. He said he had none to show us and I asked if he had ANY in the store. He sighed and said yes. Showed us someone else's set. I didn’t touch them cause I know they're someone else’s, but when I looked at them from a distance he said “Please, no touching” when I said I wasn’t going to he actually rolled his eyes! I stared at Jim like “can you believe this F’er?”

Can't wait to walk in that store and say 'I got them faster and cheaper and with a HELL of a lot of better service that you!'


If he hadn't been such a jerk I'd have paid the extra and waited.
