Found out when my shower is..

I accidently found out when my shower is. It is on Sept 13th. I went to try on my wedding dress and set up my the date for my 1st fitting (Sept 13th). I went to my dad's and told may dad and his wife about setting up the first fitting and she told me I needed to change the date. I asked her if she was serious and she had this huge smile on her face.

I next day my MOH called to ask me to go antiquing on Sept 13th. Kind of a coincidence?? I asked my FI if he wanted to go hang out with my brother (my MOH is my sister-in-law), and he acknowledged that it was my shower. I didn't even ask, he just said he thought he would play golf that day since I was having my thing.

Kind of sad that I know, but glad that I am finally having one

Awww, don't worry! You will still have a fabulous day, even if it isn't a surprise. And think of it this way - most brides actually figure out when their showers are by process of elimination anyway, so you're not alone.

Try to act surprised for your family and friends, so that the 'surprise' isn't spoiled for them

Now, if only I could find out when mine is...so far, no clues...

Honestly - I was so glad I found out. I knew how to act to surprised and everyone was so convinced. I was so overwhelmed anyway- if I had been surprised I might have been in tears for too long.

I feel your pain
I know that my BM's are arguing about the shower, that's all I know so far, but I am afraid that is too much. I really don't want to know and am soooo afraid I will find out. I live for surprises.
