Hey girlies, Just got back from my first dress shopping experience and it was amazing!!!! I loved every second of it! The first dress I tried on was the dress I fell in love with but unfortunately - it comes with a very very very high pricetag. I found the dress at Kleinfelds but what they're asking for the dress and the alterations is too much in my opinion. So here is where you come in - what stores can I go to and find my prefect dress? Any tips? Thank you!!!

You should find the style number out online, then call other bridal shops and ask them if they carry it. You may find it for a lot cheaper than Kleinfeld's. I miss dress shopping!! That was my fave part of planning!

I checked Pricilla of boston's site and according to her there are only a few stores online that carry her selection. Is that true? Think there are other stores NOT listed on the website that might carry her line?

Yea thats tough one these bad boys don't go on sale so it may be rough to find it cheaper, unless u can find it on Ebay.

Why no go to the Priscilla of Boston store in Roslyn? They may have it for less!

hmm, i've never ordered a dress from an online vendor so i dont have an experience to share. Otherwise, you can wait for a trunk show or you can go to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa! They have beautiful gowns!!! I spent a little over $2,000 for my gown. Its by Sally crew. I feel like its almost one of a kind b/c the designer is exclusive to BR and you cant find her stuff on the internet.
i am sure you will find an amazing gown!

I contacted the designer directly and asked if I could buy from them...I couldn't, but they gave me a list of shops that carried my dress and what the retail price should be. I found a salon that carried my dress for what the designer said the retail price should be.

I actually just bought a Platinum Collection Priscilla dress a couple of weeks ago. I bought mine at a trunk show at the Wedding Salon in Manhasset! FM me if you want details!!! Good luck!
