I just heard this....

My best friend's high school friend was in a wedding there.

She said the food was good. I saw ceremony pictures and it was nice. I didn't hear any complaints.

Sorry that was wasn't much but that is all I could offer.

I went to a wedding there a few years ago. I remember it being very good. The decor was nice, the food was good and so was the service. I don't remember any cons to the experience.

You mean the one in Westchester, right? It's owned by the same people who own Glen Island and I actually checked it out before looking at Glen Island. I really loved the atrium room but our wedding wasn't going to be big enough to have our cocktail hour in there. It was very nice inside and the banquet manager seemed great. I remember that it was about $40-50pp less expensive than Glen Island because it doesn't have a water view. I've heard nothing but good things about the management both places though. Hope this helps

i went to see it too. i thought it was very very pretty on the inside. the color scheme is very nice and everything inside looks brand new. They even have special lighting that you can change to different colors throughout the party. i dont know anything about the food because i havent been to a wedding there. i think they quoted me $100 for a saturday night in june. the major con was that there is not really an outside area or a pretty view.

What do you mean by not having a pretty view on the outside? Is it on a main road? Thanks for responding.
Any info you can give will help.

I think their pp starts of at $85 and up...

Please do a search because I think they were on the CBS special about having food violations.

I know this is contradicting what I said before... But do a search.

I read about that CBS Report and will definitely let them know I am aware and see what they say.

Re: Fountain Head- What do you think?

I went to a wedding there last Sept and it was wonderful! The food was really good. The wedding I went to was awesome, we had really good food during cocktail hour, dinner was good as well (but I can't remember all of it since I was stuffed from cocktail hour) and she also had the vanitian? hour... Talk about desserts! Definately awesome. She had the large room so that is definately the better room. I also visited them when looking for reception halls but I didn't have enough people for the big room so they showed me the smaller room. It is definately not as nice!!

The flow of the big room was also really nice. For those that arrived early, they placed us in a smaller room where we were able to get some drinks. Afterwards, when cocktail hour was ready, they opened the doors at the far end of the room and it extends directly into the cocktail room. (Room with glass cealings etc) and when the reception was ready, the pulled the curtains and guest were able to walk directly in from the cocktail room. Definately very good flow.

I took some pictures of the desserts (not awesome pics but maybe will give you an idea) Also took one of the ce
