Four Points Sheraton or Hilton Homewood Suites

Hi,

Is or has anyone used either of these hotels in Plainview for their wedding night?

Haven't used them, but stayed at the Homewood Suites for a wedding in October. It was great. Rooms were really nice, the rate was very good, and it's a large enough capacity that everyone was able to stay there. The location was also very very convenient...exit off the highway, nake one turn and then it's right there.

I am using the Four Points Sheraton as my hotel. Everything is brand new. I am really looking forward to staying there.

I am actually researching the same hotels so thanks for posting! I have read some bad reviews of the Hilton, if it's the same Hilton. I've heard some good things about Four Points but haven't been there yet.

I just posted about having a daytime wedding in that area and looking for things to do after the reception. Any suggestions?

If I go with that area, I'll post my feedback on those hotels in the future when I see them. Sorry I couldn't help more now.

We considered the same two hotels. We booked the Homewood Suites because I couldn't find the room size we wanted available at the Four Points because we needed the room the nigh before for the girls & I & the night of for me & FH.

I went to visit Homewood Suites (couldn't find the Four Points for some reason) & it was very pretty inside so I booked.

I had a bad experience @ four points & I will never go there again. It was bad customer service & inconsideration. It was probably just an off night for them but I still will not go back JMO though. Once i get a bad taste its over.

The rooms are night & the beds are comfy.

We looked at both. I don't think the Hilton HOmewood Suites has a bar in it which is why we didn't book them. I can't remember if they didn't have shuttle service either. 4 Points just had more of the accommodation we were looking for. We've been dealing with Ryan there and he has been really helpful.

We stayed at the Four Points for our wedding night and our OOT guests stayed there as well! It was great!

I had looked into both and ended up choosing 4 points. We were very happy with them. Our deciding factor was the bar but both hotels were really nice.

Just curious, where is the Hilton???

As of right now, we're probably going with the Sheraton, they were really nice when we went to take a look and it doesn't hurt that we know one of the managers so we're getting an awesome price for our room and our guests.

It's right around the corner from 4 Points, across the street from what I think is now the OTB but it used to be the Vanderbilt.

we stayed at the 4 points sheraton and so did our OOTGs.

we had a very positive experience

We stayed at the Homewood Suites for a friend's wedding and were very happy with it.

We had also stayed at the Huntington Hilton for another wedding and I liked the Homewood Suites a lot better.

Now everyone has put thoughts into my head...any idea on room prices? I didn't know it was even there.
