have any of u ladies stayed at either of these 2 hotels?? if so, i was wondering if you could tell me if i should splurge on the oceanview or just do a garden view...ive heard mixed things about the rooms...thanks!!

I stayed at the grand Hyatt in Kaui, the resort was AMAZING!!!!!!! we booked a mountain view room. The rooms are ver large and each have a balcony.
I stayed at the grand Hyatt Kauai...it was absolutly beautiful. We stayed in the deluxe ocean view. It was a huge room with a great balacony over the ocean. We had a great time.
We stayed at the Grand Hyatt Kauai(and Maui) too. It was amazing! We had an ocean view. Truth is, we didnt spend much time in the hotel room. the view had been part of the package, but it didnt make or break the hotel stay for us. If you are looking to book excursions such as a helicopter ride, I would sooner spend the extra money on that than a view. JMO.
We stayed at the Hyatt in Kauai and Maui....Hyatt Kauai was gorgeous!!!!!!!! We loved it! The service and the room was terrific!
We stayed at the Grand Wailea in Maui - absolutely BREATHLESS & GORGEOUS! We did the Grand Hyatt in Kauai. We reserved regular graden rooms & when we arrived we were upgraded to partial ocean or ocean views on all islands!

I stayed at the Fairmont in Maui and the Hyatt in Kaui. The hyatt was the absolute BEST BEST BEST experience.
We stayed at Fairmont in Maui and Hyatt in Kauai. THey were both WONDERFUL. We visited the Four Seasons in Maui and a few other resorts. We went resort hopping one day. Four Seasons was very pretty.
