Fox 5 news just confirmed....The patrick Swayze story is true!

The only thing is that I don't know of anyone who has recovered from pancreatic cancer - mainly b/c the way it presents, it is caught so late. Hopefully in his case, it was different. But this is shocking news. I loved that guy ever since North & South.

same case with my grandmother. she was okay until it spread to her organs. her doctor has given her only 6 months. pancreatic cancer is one of the worst.

so sorry about your aunt. my grandmother is going through it right now. its been almost 2 yrs since she was diagnosed but she is very near the end.

wow. i cant believe that. he suck a good actor. but the story says they are being opomistic about the whole thing. where did it say 5 weeks?

national enquirer. its good that their optimistic but at the same time, there is a short life expectancy for pancreatic cancer.

I'm so sorry to hear about your grandma. It's such a fast moving cancer. It doesn't present itself until the final and fatal stage. It usually comes up as a stomach virus or kidney stones. My Aunt was diagnosed on Halloween of last year and she passed away a month ago. But she was so strong and happy, that hearing her speak and watching her die (for lack of a better word) was very, very comforting and brought us all peace and a HUGE amount of closure with her death.

But from what I read about Patrick's Cancer is that they caught it quick and he's responding well to treatment , and that's key when dealing with Pancreatic cancer.
