I tried doing a search but no luck - has anyone had their reception at Fox Hollow? I'd love to hear feedback...please. If you have pics you can share I'll be forever grateful!

Re: Fox Hollow
I coordinated a Fundraiser dinner dance there last year and was thoroughly impressed from my first meeting with the banquet manager to walking out the door on the evening of the event. I used a wedding format for the event, cocktail hour and then sitdown dinner, mini-vienesse hour, the whole nine yards. The Maitre D' was awsome, being the chair of the event the whole staff treated me like a bride, kept asking if I needed anything, if everything was going according to plan, etc... They even gave me access to the bridal suite so I could escape and recoup for a few moments throughout the evening. I think I was most impressed that as we were cleaning up, the Maitre D' brought me a bottle of white wine to take home because she noticed that I didn't have the opportunity to finish my one glass of wine the whole night.
FSIL is having her wedding there next week! I will have lots of pics if you'd like to see. Her reception will be in the Winter Garden room.
If she weren't having hers there we definitely would have considered having our reception there.
There is a lot of infor on the Fox Hollow on the site - suggestion - search for who got married there and then search for that individual person's review around the time they got married - reviews usually go up anywhere between the day after the wedding to 2 months after the wedding...
Fox Hollow is a wonderful place. I was there for a wedding less than a year ago and the food was great. My fiance and I almost booked Fox Hollow for our wedding in 2005 but we got a better deal at the Jericho Terrace.

Re: Fox Hollow
Thank you so much for your opinions and for showing the links - it was all so helpful. We are having our cocktail hour in the Winter Garden Room and the reception in the Briar Fox Room. Has anyone been to a reception in that room? You know that since we signed the contract I'm all nervous now...thanks for all ofyour help!!!!

Don't be nervous! The Scotto Brothers have a great reputation. Which one is the Briar Fox? Our dinner was in the Garden Terrace which is upstairs.

Re: Fox Hollow
The Briar Fox is to the left of the Winter Garden downstairs. It's a little bigger than the Winter Garden room. We saw it when it was being cleaned and it looked beautiful even then. My fiance got the butterflies in my stomach racing when he started talking about how the DJ would be off to the left of the room and he wasn't sure about the setup. Now I'm dying to hear more opinions about the room and see pics.
The GM, Frank, was absolutely wonderful and we both knew this was the place for us - I just wish my FH didn't ask this question after we were already home!

Re: Fox Hollow
My brother got married at the Fox Hollow last year and it was great. You have nothing to worry about. I know exactly how you feel. After we chose our reception site, I was really worried, too. I think I am just not used to making such big decisions, and then when I do, I panic. But you will love the Fox Hollow. The food was fabulous and they even gave us seconds!!!
