Re: Fox Hollow

I have been to two wedding there and they were both very nice. The first one was better though. The second was a little crowded for my tastes - I think the room we were in was too small, and there was also a wedding going on right next to us and the guests were all leaving at the same time. But I don't think there's really anything that can be done to avoid that.
I looked there for my wedding also - but we went with The Watermill instead, another Scotto-owned hall. I would suggest not just looking at one place unless you've been there and love it - but looking around to see what else there is. You might be surprised. When my fiance suggested The Watermill I almost refused to even go there to look.....now Im so glad I did!!)

Good luck!!

Re: Fox Hollow

Hi Ericia and Welcome!!

We just had our reception at the Fox Hollow this past April and they were really amazing! I am still getting compliments from everyone about the food! They were wonderful there - I loved everything about it! It did rain horrendously that day so we could not use the grounds for pictures, which was a shame because there are some great places for pictures, which hopefully you can take advantage of!

A HUGE benefit for us was the Inn at the Fox Hollow next door. We had a lot of people from out of town and most of them were DH's business associates and they could not do enough for us at the hotel! We also got rooms for most of our family members and we took a bridal suite. We had an afternoon wedding so we invited our guests to come to the hotel for an after-party and again the hotel staff bent over backwards to accomodate us and our guests!

What rooms are you thinking of? There are plenty of people here who have used the Fox Hollow - I am sure you can get pictures of whatever rooms you are interested in!

Hope this helps!

We looked around and I fell in love with the FH. We are getting married there in Feb. We were able to taste the food. It was so delicious! We happened to visit right before a wedding. So we got to see the set up. WE are also having our ceremony there too! Good luck!

Thank you palebride for your response.

We, too, thought FH was very nice. The food...OUTSTANDING. We were fortunate enough to have the privilege of dining at FH's restaurant, and were amazed in how good the food was.

I will definitely take your advice in looking around. It's important to understand your options, and not settle.

Good luck to you and congratulations!

Re: Fox Hollow

Thank you April for your encouriging response. We've seen the room where the reception and the cocktail hour will be held, and as you mentioned, they are beautiful.

The room where we are looking to have our reception is the 'Winter Garden' room.

The General Manager, Frank -, seems extremely accommodating and very warm. We had a chance to dine at their restaurant, and as you said, the food was outstanding.

We are very excited about having our event there. How would you rate the staff's service at your affair, and the attention to detail? I am a detail-oriented person; I am just hoping that FH will be accommodating in that aspect.

Thanks again for responding and congratulations on your union.

Warm Regards,

Thank you Juju for your response.

We, too, thought FH was simply gorgeous. The food...OUTSTANDING. We were fortunate enough to have the privilege of dining at FH's restaurant, and were amazed in how good the food was.

We are very excited about having our event there as well. The staff seems very accommodating and understanding in how important that day is to the Bride - of course, the Groom as well.

Which room did you choose to have your reception? We are currently having it in the 'Winter Garden.'

Good luck to you and congratulations!
