Fox Hollow Brides

Hi all, I just want to tell all the Fox Hollow brides that I went to a wedding there this past Saturday and it was excellent. The food and service were out of this world. My Fiance said he never ate soooo much at a wedding. I do not know the name of the room but it was the one with the waterfall. If I had not booked my wedding already I would have seriously looked into the Fox Hollow. Elisa

Elisa, thanks for the great news! My wedding is there in October in the room with the waterfall. Although I am confident in our choice, it's great to hear :).

Thanks, Elisa! We are having our wedding there June 2001 (4 months...eek!), and even though we are in a different room (the Garden Room), it's good to hear you had such a good experience! A little more peace of mind in the crazy world of wedding planning :)

Thanks Elisa for the feedback. My wedding will be there 7/6/01 with the cocktail hour in the room with the waterfall(it's my favorite room).

When are you going back to FH to make menu decisions, etc? I'm trying to plan things out for the next few months.

I'm not exactly sure. Actually, I was planning on calling John Sireci (we signed with him) and asking about all of that. I also have to get direction cards from them since next month we are assembling the invites! But I was hoping to finalize the menu & other details in April or so. What about you?

Fox Hollow Brides rest easy

hi there ladies. Just wanted to add my 2 cents. Got married there 7/2/2000 and EVERYTHING went smoothly. MAritre D' takes care of everything. Although some of the attendants/stadd look young, dont let this fool you. They were all VERY professional and helpful. They thought of everything. The only thing I had them correct on that day is that they did not place seating up front next to the huppa for my attendants. they took care of it in 2 min flat. Any questions? pls feel free to email me!

I'm not sure about anything yet. I have 4 1/2 months left and I am trying to figure out when I have to make appointments again with the vendors. This weekend I'll be ordering the invites(they'll go out during the last week of April) and hopefully will be buying a flowergirl dress. Hopefully my MOH's dress will come in soon, so that I can go back to the florist with a swatch to match colors with. I've been relaxing since before the holiday's and now I'm starting to stress again.

Gosh, I hear ya. I was so calm until last week when I realized I was at the 4 month mark. So much to do, and I'm contacting my vendors to make sure they haven't forgotten about me :) We only booked the honeymoon TODAY! So, I'm freaking out that I may be behind, but it'll all work out.

Congrats on booking the honeymoon. Where have you decided to go? We are doing a cruise-Southern Caribbean.

Ladies, my wedding is at the fox in 2 weeks! We did our menu this past weekend. I still can't believe how much food there is going to be. Our cocktail hour is in the winter garden, reception in the Briar Fox. Joe took care of the menu with us and he was great!

Wow, you're getting down to the wire. We have the same rooms for our wedding in July. I'm a little worried about the DJ being over on the side of the room and how it's going to be for the guests sitting at the tables in front of him. What did you pick for the menu?

Jenn, The speakers actually go on either side of the door that you enter the room even though the DJ is on the side. There is going to be so much food. But if you are asking what we picked for entrees we are doing the filet mignon, chicken princess and the salmon. My fiancee really likes duck so he is getting duck just for him since he is in the groom. So, if you want a special bride meal, don't hesitate to ask. Fox Hollow will also provide vegeterian option for those guests who desire it.

I have to concur -- TOTALLY!! I went to a wedding there Last Friday night, and evwerything was PERFECT!! We are getting married there Oct. 2002, so we were excited to have the chance to 'test-run' everything. My FI had the Filet mignon, and said it was great, and the Chicken Princess was HUGE, and awesome! The wedding was in the BIG room (I don't know the name) and the cocktail hour was in Briar Fox, everything was terrific, and there were nothing but rave reviews all night. (Believe me, I asked all our friends how they liked EVERYTHING!!) The only thing we saw was that we're going to have menu cards, because no one at our table could hear the waitress (she was young too, as someone else pointed about the staff) and heavily accented. Everyone thought she said Chicken Franchaise(sp?) instead of Princess. And one of the guests didn't know the filet came with a mushroom sauce, and he's allergic. They took care of it in two seconds flat, but I figured menus would head off those small snafu's. My two cents, Karen

Our wedding is in 2 months! We have the Winter Garden for the cocktail and the Briar Fox for the reception. I`m so happy to hear that our menu choices are so popular! We must`ve maid the right choice with the Filet, Salmon, and Chicken Princess!! I may take your advice Karen and do menu cards also. Question - The Fox Hollow people said that there will be a bathroom attendant with some supplies. Are you ladies providing your own baskets in addition? Thanks!!
