Fox Hollow Cocktail Hour Question:

FH brides...

How many stations did you get for your CH?
In my contract it tells me I get to choose 5 stations and underneath each station I choose 2. That means I only have 10 hot dishes + the cheese/breads/fruits. Ummm...Is it me or is this NOT enough food??? I feel like such a jerk. At first it seemed like so much food and now I'm like, holy crap that is NOTHING!!!!! HELP!!!!!

I am getting at WM which is owned by the same people and I get the same thing and believe me it is a crapload of food. Don't you get the Pass hourdouers (sp?) as well?

i'm pretty sure we get passed hor's devours (sp?) lol! as well... i really think there will be PLENTY of FOOD..

My cocktail hour is in the Winter Garden PAv. My reception is in Briar Fox...

I though this was the 'standard' but looking at what other brides are getting I feel like it's not enough food. My cousin had like 17 diff. trays at her wedding and my friend who is a Chateu B. bride will end up with like 15 (at least) ...it's not that I'm trying to keep up w. the jones, it's just that Im wondering that maybe I could have gone a better deal elsewhere.///or what Im hoping for ...that MAYBE I lost one of the sheets that states that 'maybe' im entitlled to a few extra chafing stations. LOL... I really hope so, it's making me a little upset.

yeah we get that too. well thats why I was asking b.c Chateu Briand is owned by the same people too.....and like I said before a friend of mine is getting over 15 stations. PLUS all the other stuff we get. Thats why I wasnt sure if I was making a mistake or not.

I answered you on the other threads, but just wanted to add that yes, you pick the cake during this meeting too. They show you samples of the cakes they offer, plus a sheet with cake flavors, fillings, and either buttercream frosting, whipped cream or fondant.

As for CH, there was plenty of food!! Then there's the appetizer, salad, dinner and dessert. Guests get to choose from 7 entree choices, and the portions are a nice size. DH wanted to add some more stations to the CH, and I kept reeling him in, telling him it's going to be way too much food. We didn't add anything extra (well, except for the Viennese hour, b/c DH and his family really wanted it) but there really was a lot of food overall!
