Just met with fox hollow in Woodbury, wondering if anyone was considering this venue or had any advice? I am seriously considering it but since I have picked a September date the price is higher than most... However the royalton and woodlands all quoted me over $200 pp ...Any suggestions?

Fox Hollow consultation - Long Island Weddings
I am completely torn betweeen Fox Hollow and Lands End! I know that they are pretty firm on the prices they give. I tried negotiating the price down (as Lands End was able to) for a wedding at the end of Nov'15 and they held firm - but it is a beautiful venue! Good luck! Happy Planning

I booked fox hollow. I love it! We went with a winter wedding because we wanted fox hollow, otherwise it is too expensive.

Booked with Fox Hollow as well but chose the winter garden room as we are having a smaller wedding. I found of course the prices to be somewhat more in the spring and summer months. From Thanksgiving, to Christmas Eve, to Christmas Day and New year's Eve is truly my favorite time of year so we chose a January date. We looked at another celebration right after the new year = ) Our Wedding!!

FH and I went to see it and they showed us the venue while there was a wedding going on, maybe it was just me but I was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. It's beautiful, but left a bad taste in my mouth, I would never want this happening on my day. Just my opinion.

Re: Fox Hollow consultation
Of all the venues FH and I visited, we felt Fox Hollow was the best by far! I don't remember exactly, but a Friday night in July was affordable for the Garden Terrace room- I think it was lower than $150. Not sure about Saturday, but it was definitely lower than $200. July and August were less expensive, and they also include the last week of June at the July/August price. I believe we were told the minimum for that room was either 175 or 200, depending on day or night, Friday vs. Saturday. We have a unique circumstance so our minimum is 150. If you are flexible, work with holiday weekends! We got a great deal!

Re: Fox Hollow consultation
I booked Fox Hollow though my date is January 2 so my price is considerably lower than any I've seen on this thread. I always loved the idea of a winter wedding and I love the price of them too :) If you're firm on the date than all I can say is every review I've read and everyone I've told where the wedding is has raved about Fox Hollow. I'm confident they're gonna do a wonderful job. Doubt this even helped but whatever you pick, I'm sure your day will be amazing. :)
