Im so scared of no shows....Can I give them 2 less people and add the day of if everyone shows up?


How does this work? I know they told me what ever number I give has to match with the number of place cards...

I was not a Fox Hollow bride but at my hall I have 3 less people and it was not a problem. I still gave all my place cards and filled out the list with all the people. For the table setting chart I gave 3 less people and I knew where the extra 3 people were. When we went in to see the room during cocktail hour this is when I would have added the extra table settings. It was not necessary because one couple did not come and one person came without his wife(we were told this during cocktail hour).

They are not going to count the place cards. When you do your drop off, there is some much to go over that there is no time to count.

FYI- Once they add a place setting you are obligated to pay for the meal (even if they don't show up). Bring cash for the extra settings and they should settle up after your wedding.

My hall told me to leave off anyone who is not definite and it can be added even the day of. However, you must pay BEFORE, not after the wedding. Once there is a seat, you must pay.

I was a Fox Hollow bride and this happened to me!!! The week of my wedding we had 6 people cancel and 4 more give us 'maybes'. When we called Fox Hollow, they told us to do a few less dinners than your count and if your guests show up, they will handle it. They don't check the # of your place cards vs. the # you gave for your final count. I had more place cards than the amount I had for my final count! One of our no's showed up the day of my wedding and it was no issue at all.
