Hey everyone.. so I am a bit freaked out. We booked with fox hollow but they said they didn't do food tastings. So me, my FH, my parents and his parents went to their restaurant for dinner and it was comp'd. THat was our tasting. All the food was great but 2 peopl ehave since told me 'i liked to see how they handle large crowds' (e.g. a tasting for 200+ people) and hhave said 'I wouldn't book a place without trying the food'. what do you think??? has anyone been there please please be honest!!! i''m so nervous now :(

Re: fox hollow food - help!!
I am also having my wedding at Fox Hollow. The one thing that keeps me from not worrying about the food is that everytime I tell someone new that I am getting married there, the very first thing out of their mouth is 'amazing food!'.

Re: fox hollow food - help!!
I haven't really ever heard bad things about fox hollow. 2 of my friends went to a wedding there and they raved about it....so I think you'll be ok. The operations manager was telling us how everything is made to order and blah blah as if it were a restaurant as opposed to a catering hall.

We actually ate at the restaurant a few times before the wedding- i loved the food. We weren't worried about food at the wedding after eating here so many times.
On the day of the wedding everyone raved about the food- we had no issues. Everything I tasted was really yummy!

I would not worry at all. Not only am I having my wedding at the fox hollow as well but I have been to many weddings there and the food is always fantastic. That is one of the primary reasons I wanted my wedding there. I over analyze everything and stress over almost every aspect of mywedding and this is one aspect I am not the least bit concerned with :)

Im not 100% sure but I think Fox Hollow is a Scotto Brothers hall which means you should worry about the food. All their halls have amazing food!

I went to a wedding there a few months ago and the food was very good! The cocktail hour was very nice, lots of options and the dinner was good and served hot. No catering hall temp. problems.
I wouldn't fret.

Re: fox hollow food - help!!
SOME halls do tastings where you go when there is a wedding going on and SOME have them privately. Mine was not at FH but it was private.
I went to a wedding at FH. Most of the food was great. My salmon was so overcooked as to be inedible, but hopefully that's an anomaly

I got married there last June. You have nothing to worry about in the food department. We're still getting compliments about it. And yes it is owned by the Scotto Brothers. If you go to their bridal shows they also walk around with hor dorves. So that is one way to taste the food as well.
