Fox Hollow Menu Meeting!

Yay I'm so excited! I finally got in touch with someone from Fox Hollow about why I hadn't gotten any info about my menu and seating, etc…turns out they had my phone number totally wrong and never input my email. OH WELL I spoke with an incredibly nice woman and I'm going next Tuesday.

Aside from menu options and I think linen choices, what should I be prepared to decide? FH won't be with me because it's hard enough for me to get out to LI, let alone FH with so many grad classes.

Are there any questions or things you think are important to cover in the month before the wedding that couldn't be taken care of later? Anything else to make sure we have in writing?

I'm so excited :D

- Signature cocktails/preferred beers to have on hand
- Linen colors, of course
- Seeing if we can switch some CH options for silly things like chix fingers or pigs in a blanket for FH
- Vegan and GF options
- Info on what's provided for candy buffet
- what time we're allowed on grounds, etc for pics

do they allow you to do your own candy buffet? I never thought to ask that. I hope they do. I'm going on Wednesday next week after appt tmw got rescheduled. omg if you can get pigs in a blanket I'm so getting that too lol. I love them. plus they are so cute and yummy.

Yes they do! That's part of our favor, along with a We Love Photobooths open air booth. But I don't remember if we have to bring our containers or they have them….last time I asked was almost two years ago haha. I know that they will NOT serve any candy that has been opened in any way!

I wouldn't mind the piggies either, so I'll definitely let you know!! We went to a wedding of our friends' and they had pigs in a blanket, mini burgers, mini hot dogs and mini reuben sandwiches and FH was obsessed with them - so if we can swing it, I'd love to do something similar!

We have a great retro candy cart for $500 +,+. We also have a great compliment to that, an old fashioned Ice cream soda fountain bar where we make Shakes, egg-creams etc... That is also $500 +,+.

We do not allow candy to be brought in by the client. Liability.

That's crazy because when I spoke to Bruce a few months ago at an expo about the candy bar he said as long as I provide the containers, candy, etc. I can have a candy bar. Their ice cream soda fountain bar is awesome.....the ice cream station they provide is so disappointing lol

Same!! We bought All the containers and boxes and serving pieces already. Ugh. My mom has to call because I am not spending $500 on something that wouldn't cost half as much

That's exactly my thought. I wanted it as just a little something extra. Not to spend 500 plus tax and gratuity.

Just spoke to them - we can bring in our own candy and stuff but it's a $200 charge for the set up. Now I don't even know if it's worth it :/

That's a great question! I'm not sure…I think they'll probably find a way to still charge for it, so it's best to call I think.

do they allow any outside like cookies or something? if I don't put candy on our table stroller I have no idea what to put now lol. ugh.

I don't know I don't have my meeting until tuesday. I just called today because of the other poster. But I can let you know about pigs in blankets next week. I don't know what they'd accept, I'd call and ask fro Bruce or Jessica so you have answers ahead of time, not 38 days out like me :/

oh I thought you went yesterday but my head has been all over the place lol. you are probably going crazier since it's so close. I still have 2 months and everyday I'm like omg omg omg what do I have to do lol. I can't even think of when it's December..... I'm getting anxious just thinking about it.
