Fox Hollow or Garden City Hotel

I need advice... I currently have reservations for the Garden City hotel for our wedding night, but the Inn and Fox Hollow has this amazing promo that it almost 250 less than the GC... I am not sure of what to do... should I not be cheap and stay with the GC or should I economize and go with the fox hollow?

You only have one wedding night (hopefully) and if you really want to stay at GCH, I say go for it. If money is a real issue for you (like it is with us) and you need that money for something else go for Fox Hollow. I'm sure you will never forget your wedding night no matter where it is. I guess I was no help but I'm sure you will be happy with your decision.

We are staying at FH, they comped us a room when we booked at the FH for our reception....however since we are leaving for our HM like 4 hours after our wedding even ends i feel like we will barely be there

on one hand, i want to say go for the gch if you really like it, you only live once! on the other hand, i'm sure you guys will be ecstatic no matter where you are! and you won't be spending that much time there, and maybe you can spend the money you would save on your honeymoon i think it comes down to how important it really is to both of you, and if you had your heart set on gch...

THE jewel of Long Island is by far GCH . It is like comparing the Plaza to Best Western go for it you only have one WEDDING NIGHT go for the elegance.

We just booked the Inn at Fox hollow which was the obvious choice for us. Go where ever you like better. Only one wedding night!!!

Of course I would be partial to Inn at FH bc Im getting married at the Fox Holow, but a friend of mine just stayed there on her wedding night and she said how beautiful and accomodating the inn was. Im sure the GCH is very very beautiful too. To me its worth saving a few dollars and putting it towards something else.

Did you go see both? I really like the fox hollow inn..My FMIL just reserved a room there. All of the rooms have a little kitchen. It's really great. I also heard that their breakfast buffet is really good.

I've never been to the Garden City Hotel..

My Fh and I are getting married at the Fox Hollow, so naturally we are staying at the Inn next door, did you check out a room? By the way, its no Best Western ,believe me

How did you get them to comp your room?? I have not booked my room at FHI yet... and the manager we booked the reception with, told us he would 'call over there' for us, so should I go back to him, rather than going to FHI to get our room? And, did you block rooms there too?

when my MOH walked into the inn at fox hollow, she told me that it was just as nice as the ritz carlton in san fran, if not nicer. i wouldn't compare the fox hollow to the best western any day.

if you want to spend the money at the GCH then go for it, but the FH is gorgeous!
