I really loved the Fox Hollow but I only will book it in the big room, we are planning on 150 guests and their is a 200 person minimum for a Saturday night. Just wondering if their were any brides out their who had booked it for 175 or made other arrangements? I just think the Briar room ceilings are low and confining! Thanks
We're doing the big room on Sunday night of a holiday weekend for 175 (but we negotiated). I think Friday and Sunday nights are all around that and of course the day time is less. Good luck to you. We stressed over the same issue.
We have the Garden Terrece during the day for a minimum of 160. I didn't care for the briar room. But the winter Garden room is nice..
It's not like you're asking them to lower their minimum by 100 or anything. Just tell them it's 150 or you can't book there, and see what happens. But I agree, the Briar Fox isn't the prettiest room there, so you shouldn't have to settle.
Lorena-we are hoping for 5/28/05(Same holiday weekend) Our guest list is rising quickly we loved the Winter Garden Room but it isn't big enough. Its true we might just say its 175 take it or leave it (you think the scotto bros loosing $3000 is going to make a big difference) Thanks for the suggestions!
We tried to bring him down ..because i wanted a evening reception but they didn't budge..Good Luck
we tried to bring them down on the big room too. All we could get them down to was 170 for a Friday in June. We are only having around 150 so we couldn't do it. (though I did think about trying to add on to my guest list but decided against it)
