Fox Hollow Room Advice

Hi everyone -

I am trying to decide between Fox Hollow & Flowerfields for my wedding. I think I would like to go with Fox Hollow but I have on concern, the room. Our reception would be in the Briar Fox room. I think the is too small and doesn't give that 'grand' affect. The manager said I need to see it decorated for a wedding.

Any advice? Any comments from brides who have had their reception in the Briar Fox?

Thanks!

I would look at the Fox Hollow thread, there are girls who ahve posted pictures of their wedding in the Briar Fox Room and I thought it was beautiful

I went there and for the amount of people that we would guarantee...we would have also had the Briar Fox room...while it was very nice...I also didnt feel that it would allow us to have that grand effect...so we ended up going somewhere else...but if we could have used the Garden Terrace room Fox Hollow was our second choice

Re: Fox Hollow Room Advice

When my husband and I were looking at halls, we were seriously considering FH - until we saw the Briar Fox room. The main room (connected to the garden) is gorgeous, as is the Winter Garden Pavilion - but IMHO, the BF room is dark and depressing. On our second visit to Fox Hollow, the BM showed us the BF room decorated for a wedding, and we were still unimpressed. I honestly don't think it holds a candle to Flowerfield - but again, that is just my own opinion. We have been to weddings at both FF and FH, and they were both excellent, the food, the service, everything is comparable, but Flowerfield definitely has more of a 'WOW' factor than FH.
