Does anyone know if they offer a tasting? I'm most concerned about CH food. There are so many options that I'd like to taste at least something before I make my decision.

Re: Fox Hollow Tasting
i don't think they do. when we booked, they told us if we came in to the restaurant we would get free appetizers, but that's about it. fox hollow food is supposed to be amazing though so i'm not too concerned.

Re: Fox Hollow Tasting
They offer you to come into the restaurant with free appetizers and free cocktails for up to 6 people. The food is delicious. The only problem is that the food they serve you in the restaurant is none of the food on your menu or in your selections of the CH. I asked them about this and they said the point of the dinner is so that you taste the quality of the food, but not the same food. I didn't like that, but I trust the food will be great. My friend's Uncle is the chef for Fox Hollow, so I completely trust them.
HTH!

Ok great. Hopefully some past FH brides can give us a run down of what to get/no get during CH.

Re: Fox Hollow Tasting
lol i want everythingggg at our CH, decisions are going to be bad! my dad just wants fried calamari, my FH only cares about the homestyle finger foods that get passed because he's the opposite of a foodie, and i think everything sounds fantastic
They are having a showcase at the fox hollow. I was thinking maybe they would have some appetizers available to try?
We are going to do a tasting. It is for appetizers and cocktails, I think up to six people. Waiting for the springtime and a good day where our parents can join us.

If I go, I will probably be going with my mom and sisters. Its only a 20-25minute drive for us. FH works too late to be going.

I went to their last showcase in the Fall and they did have some of the passed around appetizers going around and they were yum! (They also had a great dessert table too!!!!!!!)
Also, after we booked FH in July I actually went to a wedding there in August and the CH food was delish!! We definitely are in good hands with the food!! Now the only tough decision is what to pick!!! :)

exactllyyy, some of the choices could be easily cut off for us. But are definitely a lot of choices that sound oh-so-yummy. I do like that we don't have to cut down the dinner menu!

that was one of the things that drew me to fox hollow from the reviews - i like giving people options because at every wedding i go to, i realize i'm not in the mood for what i 'ordered' two months prior

Re: Fox Hollow Tasting
also ladies if there's something that you don't see on the CH menu just tell them and they can probably make something for you. Half of our guests are Polish so my uncle said that he can make some Polish foods for the CH
