Fox Hollow - Wedding Cakes

Does anyone know what baker Fox Hollow uses for the wedding cakes they include? Are we able to contact the baker directly and make an appt. to review flavors and order? I'd rather review what I want with the bakery and taste some flavors if possible, then just pick from the book of photos they have.

Francesco's in Hicksville. Def. go in for a tasting. We got our engagement cake from them but weren't really happy with the quality

I think they told us the meeting with Francesco's wouldn't be until 2 months before the wedding, so it'd be a good idea to go in and scope them out before committing.

My parents got an amazing Napoleon cake from them for my 18th birthday when I was in high school, but that was basically a giant pastry. For real cakes, I'd want to see their work too

I wanted fondant but I remember it costing something ridiculous (like $500?) to upgrade.

I didn't go for a taste tasting and we loved our cake. We picked out the chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling and whipped cream frosting in ivory. It was soooo good!

Also, we were able to change the cake design you saw in the book they show you and our florist added special touches to it. Pic in wedding album.

It was the square dot cake in the book they show you. But DH wanted it round and i wanted the top tier raised with flowers in the middle. When you go for your final meeting you will see that they are flexible with anything you want.
