Foxwoods Bachelorette Party
I know there have been a few posts up in the past asking opinions about bachelorette parties at foxwoods in Conn.
My friend had it there this weekend and it was great!!
We stayed in the MGM grand for 2 nights, which is about a 5 min walk (all indoors) to Foxwoods.
We are coming from Western-mid Nassau and to get there it took 5 1/2 hours mainly cuz the stupid throgs neck was closed. It took us about 3 hours to get home some some light traffic here and there. The directions were easy and it's real easy drive
At night we first went over to Foxwoods and ate and had drinks at scorpio bar which i highly recommend cuz the food was awesome and we got hooked up w/drinks. We went back over to MGM to shrine for dancing. It was about 21-35 age range of people and the music is a nice mix of hip-hop, dance, re-mixes, and old school stuff. No real techno or hard hip-hop. This weekend they played a good amount of Michael Jackson so i was loving it.
During the day we were at the pool which was nice and warm. Just for a suggestion, get there around 9-10 to get good seats. There aren't many and people sit and wait for seats to open up and they are grabbed really fast.
2nd night we went to Al Dente at Foxwoods for dinner and it was ok. Not great, but ok.
The 2nd night we were back at Shrine which seemed to be the main club between the two.
There were a bunch of families with kids there but they weren't really a issue. You mainly saw them at the pool.
This is a great place for a bachelorette party if u wanna get away for a weekend and have tons of options. Maybe you'll get lucky and they will have a good headline show that weekend.
