Frames

I am looking for cheap gold pictures frames (5 x 7 size). I would need about 20-25 of them. I found them for $4 each but since I need alot I reallydo not want to spend that much. Let me tell you what I need them for. I am going to use them instead of the stand with the table number on each table. Since my tableclothes are going to be gold, I wanted the gold picture frames to hold the table number. I am going to make the numbers on the computer, put them in the frame and put the frame at the end of each table. This way there is plenty of room for everyone to see each other at the table. Does anyone know where I can find these frames for cheaper than $4 each?

Re: Frames

I am not looking for placecard frames. I already have my placecard frames. I am looking for regular picture frames that are 5 x 7 in size.

Re: Frames

Century 21 (Old Country Rd., Westbury) has tons of reasonably priced frames. I have also found nice frames at 99 cent type stores, if you are in Nassau, check out Odd Job in the Lake Success shopping center, or National Wholesale Liquidators on Old Country Rd.

Re: Frames

How about Odd Job? I bought 4x6 silver frames for my bridesmaids (they had silver leaves and acorns on the top) and I put a poem in them. I think they were $3 a piece and were not cheap looking.

Re: Frames

I tried the Odd Job by my job and they do not have ones that I am looking for. Is the Odd Job in LI a mess? The one in NYC is a mess.

Does anyone know any websites where I might be able to buy these frames?

Re: Frames

I would check Odd Job, Mace's, or Marshalls. Those stores are always messy and crazy, but you can always find what your looking for and for reasonable prices .... you just have to really search Good luck on finding those frames!! Someone said spray painting cheap frames gold too! That's a good idea

Re: Frames

Try Wrap with us... they have a TON of frames (large and small), and their prices seemed really good. They are a vendor on this site.

Re: Frames

I know Target has a bunch of wood frames in the $3.99 range. Maybe you could spray paint them? There's also Wal-mart & K-mart...

Re: Frames

I did this for my table numbers, but I bought ivory ceramic frames. I got them at National Wholesale Liquidators for .99 I don't think they have gold ones, but you could give them a try. Or, you could use the Ivory, with the numbers outlined in thin black and then colored in in gold....good luck!
(now that I look at them, they have a thin gold trim on them)

Re: Frames

There is a $.99 store by Century 21, they have some 5 x 7 frames glass not bad looking at all, or even cheap. But with any $.99 store it is hit or miss.
