i almost went with them - and had a hard time choosing between 3 photographers.
What ultimately made the decision easier for me was that I asked to see a real brides proof book.
They gave you a book of 3x3's and not the actual photo!! Which stinks! I would want actual 4x6 prints (or similar size) to look at! When slowly evaluating their proofs I realized that there just wasn't enough photojournalism going on - they are an excellent traditional photography studio . Even though they throw in the photojournalist - I wanted more relaxed looking poses and no so out of textbook poses (ie: groom on one knee kissing brides hand).
Hope that helped - as far as personality goes - they are SO much fun to talk with. Which made me sad...but you ultimately have to decide what will make you happy.

Re: Franklin Square Photography
One of my friends used them in '01. Her pictures were great, but their style was a little too traditional for me.

My stepsister used them and very traditional no originality. You can go to their website and view recent weddings, I didnt like them. And heres the kicker- after all was said and done when my stepsister went to get her pictures it came to oh no thats extra and thats extra - they tried to charge her more money for things allready in contract.

I can't tell you how the final product is - but I have friends who swear by them. We booked them based on personality, and the fact that they do the work themselves. I was most impressed with their editing skills both photo and video-wise. Good luck!

I second m&m! We originally wanted Sherwood Triart, but met with Greg, Dawn and Marty @ Franklin Square Photography and fell in love with them. Their personality did it for us! I know myself and I take horrible pictures...you can see that fake, forced smile...with them I'm laughing having a fabulous time! I can't wait to spend the day with them!!! (AND my FH of course!!!)
