last night FH drove me home. I have a really long driveway and he always brings me to the back of the house. as we were pulling in, it felt like we went over a speed bump ... so im like 'mike, what the heck was that?' he's like 'what did i run over?' sooo he looks in his side mirror and is like 'O my god i ran over some kind of animal!' sooo we get out and he ran over an opossum and killed it! i dont know how we didnt see it ... it must have been running acorss the driveway ... but anyway ... i called my dad and he came out and the boys took care of it. GROSS. i live in nassau county ... what the heck!

Those things move so slow and probably didnt get a chance to get out of your way. Ive been seeing them around in my backyard and I live in Nassau too!! They really freak me out!!

I swear to GOD, I saw one of those run across the street and into my neighbor's yard last night around 11:30 pm. . .I live in Suffolk County! FH thought it was a giant rat, and I said, 'So THAT'S what's been eating our garbage over the past few weeks!'

i would say 'poor thing' too, except last night, a raccoon decided it would be a good idea to pop out from behind my vehicle as it was parked and scare the ever loving cheez doodles out of me.
