freakin out

My RSVP date is this Friday and Im still missing like 36 response cards so like over 70 people and I am realizing that I am most likely not going to meet my minimum bc alot of those people I dont think are going to be able to make......

Now I dont know if I can even invite our people bc isnt it rude to give someone an invitation with an RSVP card that is already passed???

You have two options really. . send them to folks who won't care about being invited second. .like I invited folks after the fact who knew that I was trying to have a really small thing so I phrased it like 'I'm so excited people turned me down so i could invite people' these were people I like but who knew they were not soo close that they expected invitations you know. .

I also know other girls who just made up different RSVP cards. . but used regular invitations. . at this point people will prob know they were invited late anyway. .. so

there is also the called to say 'hey didnt get your RSVP so can you make it' and then they say. what I didnt get an invite so you 'resend' it but that's up to you if thats something you feel you want/need to pull off!

no worries. . just have fun inviting more folks!

I think alot of people know about the 'A' and 'B' list etc.

If you have a second list, I say dig into it. I dont think they'll be offended.

I would reach out to the people who didn't RSVP. Just in case you invite more people who can make it and then the other ones end up RSVP'ing but just late!

And I agree that people know about A and B. I definitely think if you phrase 'so glad we can include you' people will feel happy about being invited. Even though it wasn't the first time around!! GL
