People are dumb and rude. And you know they are the same people who would be complaining nonstop if you did the same to them.
Holy S h i t.. 90 and 40 those are big numbers. There should be a door to door service that you send big guys to knock on doors and kick people in their asses to give a friendly reminder to rsvp.

Crashing....so what do you ladies do in the event that people do not send back RSVP cards....do you call them to find out...or is that rude?
I hear you. So many people didn't respond to me either and today was my RSVP date. It makes you want to shoot a few people. The rudeness is unbelievable !!!
We haven't sent ours out yet, but we're already anticipating this problem. We are going to call to remind people to send the response (not ask if they're coming or not because it might be awkward if they aren't)...if that doesn't work then I'm thinking of sending an email or letter to them saying something like 'sorry we haven't heard a response from you regarding the wedding. we will miss your presence....'blah blah blah...so that they KNOW they can't come now.
