Freaking FSIL!

Ugh she's just plain dumb.

We invite her with a guest out of courtesy. but the girl is a complete flake. She almost never gets into a relationship because she scares guys off immediately. She's quite delusional.

So we get her response card yesterday - she replied - 2 - yes.

FH and I laugh about it. She never has a boyfriend. So we figured she just put a guest down in the hopes she'll have one by then. Then, we thought, she might just show up with her half sister or her mother.

So anyway, I email her asking 'So who's the lucky guy?'

Get this! This is her response!

'I'm not sure which one of the guys I'm seeing will be the one who comes with me.'

Um WHAT? You reply that you are bringing a guest even when you're not sure who is coming with you? how do you know a guy that you're 'SEEING' is gonna come all the way to NY from Tennessee with you and spend the money on all this travel and hotel room stuff?

She is DELUSIONAL!!!

I will be SO if she shows up without a guest. I bet you anything she has no CLUE how wrong that would be. I already am not counting for her guest in my final count.

FH is joking that maybe she'll bring BOTH guys.

Sorry just had to vent. She's a complete idiot. I love her yet...holy flakiness!!! She is one of the most self absorbed human beings EVER. ARGH!

OMG! My FSIL is the same way!!! Shes torn between two guys and constandly goes back and forth on which one she wants to bring.. W t f is about that? FH and I decided that she is not bringing ANYONE!

I feel the same way, yet we all have atleast one friend like this.

I dont think you really take things to heart like just bringing some random person to a friends wedding, not considering the bride has to pay for that stranger who isn't even important to either of you untill you have to plan and pay for your own wedding. Sad but true!

I feel the same way, yet we all have atleast one friend like this.

I dont think you really take things to heart like just bringing some random person to a friends wedding, not considering the bride has to pay for that stranger who isn't even important to either of you untill you have to plan and pay for your own wedding. Sad but true!

Yknow...I think if we sit down and try to understand these 'women' we will go nuts! I can tell you right now that if you put a guest for her..not one guy will show..and you will just end up wasting money.

Am I nasty for being so annoyed about this? FH laughs about it but doesn't get why it's a 'problem.' I dunno, her crap about this wedding bugs me. It's her brother's wedding, and she was considering taking a red eye home after the wedding! Enjoy the friggin' weekend with your family for crissake! What the hell could be so important? All for her 'business' which is COMPLETELY nonexistent. I tell her about the rehearsal dinner and she goes 'Unlike everyone else, my business schedule determines when I'll get up there.' and says she'll make arrangements 2 weeks before. PUHLEAZE. her business schedule is a joke. She'll chase these stupid rock bands across the country trying to get them a record deal but can't set a few days aside for her brother.

Oh man I'm mean- she just IRKS me!!
