Ok, so I am getting married on Saturday and I have a question. I am sure there is a past thread on this, but I can't find what I want. TIPPING!!! Who, how much, when (beginning of night, end of night, photographers- when you get proofs?) ??? Please help

dont freak out....enjoy this time!!! from what i have learned is average tips are this: Matre'd, 2-3 bucks per guest, florist delivery people: 20 per perspn, cermony musicians:25 per person, band members : not sure of, photograohers and videographers, 100 - 150 per pserson, some people dont tip though if the vendor owns their own business..its at your discretion, you can give the envelopes to a trusted person and have them pass them out, DJ gets 100- 150, hair and makeup 20% of teh bill, dont stress, hope this helps somewhat!!! From what education about tipping I have you tip your maitre'd $3-5 dollars per person at your affair and all vendors your vendors about 50.00. If you ask your banquet manager at thhe hall they should be able to break it down for you. Good Luck.

We tipped our maitre'd $4 per guest.
I tipped hair and make-up each $50.00 other vendors I'm not exactly sure, DH handled those and I never asked.
